Account & Data Deletion Instructions

Important: Obba does not require or create user accounts. There is no email, password, or sign-up process. All data is stored locally on your device.

Why There Is No “Account”

Obba is designed to work without user accounts. There is no registration, no login, and no remote profile. This is intentional — we cannot identify you because we have no server infrastructure. Your data exists only on your physical device.

How to Delete All Your Data

Option A: Uninstall the App

  1. Long-press the Obba icon on your home screen or app drawer
  2. Select “Uninstall”
  3. Confirm the uninstallation

This permanently removes the app and all associated data from your device.

Option B: Clear App Data

  1. Open Android Settings → Apps → Obba → Storage
  2. Tap “Clear Data”

What Happens After Deletion

  • All transaction records are permanently destroyed
  • All category preferences are removed
  • All app settings are reset
  • All transaction hashes are deleted
  • No data exists on any server — there is nothing else to delete

Verification

Since no data is transmitted to our servers, deletion from your device is complete and final. There is no backup copy, no server-side data, and no way for us or anyone else to recover deleted data.
