Data Deletion Policy

Overview
Obba stores all data exclusively on your device. We do not have access to any of your data. You have complete control over deleting your data at any time.
Method 1: Uninstall the App
- Long-press the Obba app icon on your home screen
- Tap “Uninstall” or drag to the uninstall area
- Confirm uninstallation
Uninstalling the app removes all app data, including the local database, preferences, and cached data. All data is permanently destroyed.
Method 2: Clear App Data via Android Settings
- Go to Android Settings → Apps → Obba
- Tap “Storage”
- Tap “Clear Data”
- Confirm when prompted
This clears all app data while keeping the app installed. It is equivalent to a fresh install.
Method 3: Revoke SMS Permission
To stop Obba from reading new SMS (without deleting existing data):
- Go to Android Settings → Apps → Obba → Permissions
- Tap “SMS”
- Select “Deny”
This prevents future SMS reading while preserving existing transaction data.

Data We Never Have
Because Obba is fully offline with no internet permission, we never receive, store, or have access to any of your data on our systems. There is no remote data to delete. Deleting data from your device is complete and final.
